A Leopard and his Spots

Pretties,

slowly but surely I am finding my way back to blogging. Thank you so much for sticking by me. I'm planning a giveaway as soon as I'm really back to business!

For this mani I finally used my OPI Black Spotted that I got in the Sephora clear out. I had been struggling to find a good use for it. Now, inspired by the cat stickers that I got from Etsy, a leopard print came to mind! Nothing too spectacular. But I'm getting there =)

I have no idea what happened to the Black Spotted on my index finger. Weird.
I used: Essence A Piece of Forever, OPI Black Spotted, vinyl sticker

The Weakest Link, erm, nail.

Do you have a nail that's weaker than the others? How do you work around that?

I have one nail that always breaks. Always. Since I've been using OPI Nail Envy for some time now, my nails have improved immensely. They are strong, the tips are close to white and they don't tear or chip anymore.

Except for this one nail. I don't even understand, because it's on my left hand! So not my dominant hand.
It's always the same 'corner' that chips, too. As soon as it has grown back to some length, it just gives up! I'm always trying to hide this in my pictures, did anyone notice? =)

My ripped nail, ouch.
My nail looks a bit dirty in the picture as there is still some adhesive from the band aid on it. Sorry!

I am at a loss at what to do about this. So far, Nail Envy is the only product that has improved my nails significantly so what more can I do?

If any of you have any suggestion, let me know!

NOTD: Bright Brick Tart

I love an accent nail. I love pastels that are bright at the same time. I love spicing up a simple mani!

Supersoaker nails

WHOOP WHOOP! Kings of Leon have released a new single. So obviously I *had* to celebrate with a mani =) I did this real quickly, as in, within one minute. I don't even remember why I was in such a hurry, hmm.

This is the cover for the single (do singles even have covers? Or should I say 'this is the illustration your MP3 player will display'?):

Go buy it nooooow! =)

I did this mani, well, accent nail:

Summer with KoL!

Again, I did this very quickly and I also took the picture without checking it on the computer, so it's not as clear as I would like. Now I'm thinking I should have done a gradient as well, orange-yellow-mint, like the word supersoaker in the pic.
Anyway, I like that nobody know what it means and I can still get my fangirl out ;-)

When was the last time you did 'fan'-nails? Am I too old, at 30? =(

I used: Hema mint polish with shimmer, L'Oréal Colour Riche Banana Pop, Nails Inc Cambridge Terrace

NOTD: Sprinkle Drip

Another quick NOTD, pretties. I promise I will be back soon! I have a bunch of untrieds, just a lack of inspiration right now. It's so HOT out!

Here's a drip mani using Nails Inc Pudding Lane. I got this polish at BeautyBay. I love drip manis because they add instant spice to your nails without being too *IN YOUR FACE*.

I love this polish. I'm sure you'll be seeing more if it on this blog =)

NOTD: Cambridge Terrace French

My polishes are still sitting in a box. This means I haven't had to move out yet, but it also means it hasn't been okay to unpack them. Yet.
I haven't been up to doing any nail real art yet. I have even gone bare for a few days, gasp!

Here's a quick NOTD. Nails Inc Cambridge Terrace over a coat of OPI Nail Envy (I LOVE this stuff!) and an accent of Daily Lacquer Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice.

GA Rox: Velvet Diamonds Nail Art

So sorry you guys, I know I haven't been posting or doing great nail art. Apart from my KoL mani =)
You can read the reason after the break at the bottom of this post.

Thankfully my sister Rox did a mani using some of my polishes =D

The blue is a Misslyn Velvet Diamonds polish which I haven't tried yet, can't wait to see the effect and how it compares to other brands.

Misslyn is a new brand for me. Just the Velvet Diamonds collection boasts eight colours. I also picked up some stud stickers and nail art stickers which I will hopefully use and review soon.

Rox used: Misslyn Velvet Diamonds 85 Royal Blue, Rimmel Rain Rain Go Away, Nails Inc Cambridge Terrace.
